{"id":627,"date":"2011-02-08T16:10:26","date_gmt":"2011-02-08T15:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/emilyspeed.co.uk\/news\/?p=627"},"modified":"2014-10-27T14:23:05","modified_gmt":"2014-10-27T13:23:05","slug":"block-magazine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emilyspeed.co.uk\/news\/2011\/02\/08\/block-magazine\/","title":{"rendered":"Block Magazine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I found this little magazine in Tate Liverpool today, it&#8217;s called <a title=\"Block\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blockmagazine.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Block<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They say that they are &#8216;<span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">a new magazine for writing &#8211; review, reflection, story, poem or  polemic &#8211; on architecture, built space and the city and its  representation or exploration through sketch, photograph, drawing and  graphic image. Block aims to present architecture&#8217;s reflection across a wider field of contemporary culture, and its place within it.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">I love it. Issue 1 is called &#8216;The Modest&#8217; and it is a recycled paper love-fest for all buildings plain and humble. AND it&#8217;s yellow. All in all, it&#8217;s made my day.
